This class is all about setting you up with the fundamentals you need to become an excellent piano player. You'll learn about the history of the instrument, and how to identify and practice notes, scales and chords. Elijah will also introduce you to some musical theory tools you'll refer back to again and again throughout your musical journey.
2. It's Time to Build Your Skills
Now that you know the basics, it's time to take things to the next level. In this course, Elijah will break down complex topics like chord progressions, bass lines and arpeggios into simple, understandable movements, ensuring that you're able to easily absorb them into your own practice.
3. Get Ready to Expand Your Scope
You've built a foundation as a piano player in your previous lessons; now it's time to deepen your understanding of the music you're playing. In this class, Elijah will teach you the basics of sight reading and musical notation, and you'll put together your first original composition!
4. Take Your Music to the Next Level
Elijah's taught you the rules and structures of piano — now's your chance to unlock your creativity! In this intermediate-level class, Elijah will show you how to use improvisation to deepen your understanding of harmony and improve your composition work.
5. Create Your Own Arrangements
The journey you started as a beginner has lead you here: you're ready to create your own musical arrangements! In your final class, Elijah will take you through building arrangements step-by-step, so you can show off your new piano skills with confidence and pride.
